2. Asset Management
2.1 Adding New Assets
To add a new asset:
- Navigate to the Assets page
- Click the "Add New Asset" button
- Fill in the required fields (QTAG Number, Asset Name)
- Select the appropriate category type and frequency
- Add photos and documents if needed
- Click "Save Asset"
2.2 Editing Assets
To edit an existing asset:
- Find the asset in the assets table
- Click the edit button (pencil icon)
- Make your changes
- Click "Update Asset"
2.3 Asset Categories
Assets are organized by categories and types:
- Electrical: Insulation testers, electrical inspections
- Fire: Fire extinguishers, fire blankets
- Ladder: Step ladders, extension ladders, platform ladders
- Lifting & Rigging: Chain hoists, ropes, slings, shackles
3. Inspection Workflow
3.1 Register Types
QTAG supports different register types for various inspection categories. Each register has specific fields and requirements.
3.2 Inspection Scheduling
Inspections can be scheduled based on frequency:
- Monthly: Inspections due every month
- Quarterly: Inspections due every 3 months
- Yearly: Inspections due annually

The system uses color coding to indicate inspection status:
- Red: Overdue inspections
- Orange: Inspections due soon
- Green: Up-to-date inspections
