Only organisation Administrators can use Organisation Setup. Contact your administrator if you need changes to categories or equipment types.
Organisation Setup
Manage categories (top-level registers), equipment types, inspection frequencies, the quarterly colour schedule, and email notifications for your organisation. Use the tabs below to focus on one area at a time. Inactive items stay visible here but are hidden from dropdowns elsewhere; existing assets keep their current type.
Inspection frequencies
Display name plus either Months (interval in months) or Days (interval in days). Next inspection due dates are calculated from these fields (not from the name alone). When your organisation has no frequency rows yet, opening Category Setup adds the default set (Annually, Monthly, 5 Yearly, Bi-annually, Quarterly) automatically. Custom frequencies are highlighted with a green edge — scroll the table if you do not see them.
View only — your role can browse inspection frequencies, but cannot add, change intervals, or activate/deactivate them.
tbl_frequency.fd_orgId in the database. Until then, the app uses the legacy shared frequency list for dropdowns.

Category types by category
View only — your role can browse category types and checklist steps, but cannot add, rename, reorder, or activate/deactivate them. The Edit Category Types & Steps role is required to make changes.
Use three levels: the category chevron (beside each category name) shows or hides that category’s types table. Expand a category to use Add type for new equipment types under it. Each type row has a chevron to show or hide that type’s checklist steps (steps hidden by default). Use Move to category to reassign a type. With steps open, use Add Step to add a checklist step. To change checklist order, press and hold the grip icon beside a step, then drag up or down.
Quarterly colour schedule
View only — your role can browse the colour code schedule, but cannot change the quarter start month or colours. The Edit Organisation role is required to make changes.
Set the first quarter start month and four colours (each used once). All users in your organisation see the same colours on inspection due dates across assets and registers.
Email notifications
Preview. These toggles are a mock of Notification Settings. Save stores a local preview only — it does not start or stop real emails until the policy table is wired.
View only — your role can browse notification settings, but cannot change them. The Edit Organisation role is required to make changes.
Choose which events send email to organisation contacts, and which stay in-app on the Notifications inbox. Who receives org emails is still the Contact List (Invoicing, Licences, Tag stores). Security emails to the affected user cannot be turned off.
